FREE Google Places Craft Tuesday @ ArtLab Studios

We want to see how creative you San Diegans are! Come by and meet other crafty people and pimp a FREE Water Bottle!

The event is FREE and open to all Google Places users. Never used Google Places before? All you need is a Gmail account. Here's how you can tell us about your favorites in town:

1) Login to Google Places - http://google.com/places
2) Search for any business
3) Click the empty stars, write a review
4) Publish!

There is also an Iphone app and Andriod Widget so you can review, add photos, check-in (android only), and find new places!

ELVIS IS IN THE BUILDING

If you happen to visiting the Adams Avenue Street Fair today or tomorrow, swing by the studio to see Elvis and all his personalities, of which he has many if you didn’t already know.
We will have our Elvis heads, created by middle school and high school students on display, AND catch a glimpse of what our little Art FORM (Found Objects Recycled Materials) store will look like, as its’ developing on the side patio.
Our hours will be approximately 12-6:30pm today, and Sunday, 12-4 or 5pm.

We are happy to announce our next Saturday afternoon tasting featuring the exciting and cutting edge wines of Sicily. We will be joined by good friend and Italian Wine Guru, John Yelenosky (if you haven’t met him yet, enjoying a Jayne Burger at the bar, you need to!) and hosted by Deirdre O’Dwyer.

The wines of Italy seem to never stop impressing us and will always find a place our wine list. Sicily has more vineyards than any other region in Italy, though many of the grapes are turned into raisons and dessert wine, there are certainly gems to be found. From the intense Sparkling Nerello Mascalese from Murgo and the perfumed and bright Rami to the silky feminine notes of Frappato, we are in love! Please join us this Saturday to fall in love as well.
