Ice(land) at Jaynes

We're excited to announce that we just fired up our new Kold Draft ice machine as well as our commercial ice crusher for our cocktail program. Kold Draft is a PA based ice machine company and was the first automatic ice making machine manufacturer. Their ice is particularly well suited to craft cocktails: hard, cold and free of impurities. I think we may have the first KD in San Diego. We also just installed a commercial ice crusher which you definitely want to keep your hands away from. Nothing like great crushed ice in the coming summer. We're gunning to have not only the finest, most consistent cocktails in San Diego, but to bring them to you at the best prices. Come on down and see what we're up to.

Wednesday nights are Cocktail Night and the specialty list is only $6. If you are serious about getting your drink on, there's no other choice on Wednesdays.

Normal Heights Night on Adams?????

So, people keep asking, "What's the deal with Normal Heights Night on Adams? I don't get it."

Well, it's nothing but an excuse to get out and enjoy our neighborhood. Swing by Blind Lady for a beer, walk over to Pinto for some Thai or Cantina Mayahuel for tacos, drop in a Nickelodeon or Folk Arts Records to pick up some vintage vinyl, have a coffee at Lestat's to keep you going, then take you pick of Viva Pops or Mariposa Ice Cream for some of the best desserts in town. Oh, and maybe head over to the Sod for one more.

Seriously, it's that simple! Get out and ask "What's yer Night on Adams special" and see what happens. If they don't know what you're talking about tell them that your on the very first Normal Heights Night on Adams. Who knows, pretty soon we might have our very own Normal Heights version of a Walkabout. It's not gonna happen sitting on your couch.
