News from San Diego's Most Intimate Wine Bar

FEB. 5: FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE w/ JESSY & ANDREW

Our live music series continues this week; featuring Jessy & Andrew. Live classics to modern hits. Join your friends in wondering how we wedge so much talent into such a small space.

Music starts at 8 p.m., but Gilbert starts pouring his favorite "decanter" special way before that.

VALENTINE'S DAY DINNER SPECIAL

As San Diego's "most intimate wine bar", it only seems appropriate we have a ♥-Day special. Bring your date. Don't have a date? Even better. Our seating is perfectly arranged so you can meet someone new.

Our ♥-Day special ($20 for a single plate; $35 for two):
  • Salad w/ choice of dressing
  • Entre: filet mignon, prime rib, shrimp scampi, or (vegetarian) pasta primavara
  • Dessert: home-made cheesecake or flan
  • Wine specials.
Dinner served from 5 until 10 p.m. We'd ♥ to see you there. Since it is a big day for people going out, we'd also ♥ if you RSVP'd for the occasion (Email: allofus@proprietorsreserve.com)

17 (YES, SEVENTEEN) NEW WINES (all 87+ pts.)

The past year brought an oversupply of great wines. The means makers/distributors lower prices to move. Bargains for us = bargains for YOU. We just added 17 new wines to our list. Best part: They're all rated 87 pts. or higher by Wine Spectator or Wine Enthusiast.

A sampling:
  • Magician Gewurztraminer; Columbia Valley, Wash. 16.99/bottle
  • Tatachilla Cabernet Sauvignon; McLaren Vale, Australia 22.99/bottle (9.99 BRIX club members)
  • Redhouse Shiraz/Granache; Barossa, South Australia 15.99/bottle (9.99 BRIX club members)
  • Rosenblum Snows Lake Zin; Lake County, Calif. 31.99/bottle (16.99 BRIX club members)
  • Vergelegen Merlot/Cab; South Africa 22.99/bottle (9.99 BRIX club members)
Most are rotating through our by-the-glass menu, so you have a chance to taste them. Stop in. We'd love to pour you a little. Or a bottle.

Hope to see you soon,
